Mimosa captivated attendees at the 114th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS), with its exhibit chronicling their initiatives in responsible mining and community investments. The Show ran under the theme, “Cultivating Prosperity. Growing Business. Innovating for Change. Nurturing our Future.” Situated in the Mining Sustainability Village, aptly dubbed “Growing Sustainable Mining: Nurturing our Future,” Mimosa’s exhibition stand was frequented by visitors of all ages. The company’s exhibition stand told the story of Mimosa’s impact on the community which includes collaborative partnerships as well as environmentally responsible mining operations. The ZAS held a grand opening on August 27th, which was graced by the guest of honour, Filipe Jacinte Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique who was accompanied by His Excellency the President of Zimbabwe, Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa. The duo added distinction to an already remarkable platform.

A much-anticipated annual event, known for attracting visitors of all ages and backgrounds, this year’s edition did not disappoint. Mimosa made sure to seize the opportunity, not only gaining exposure but also reinforcing its role as a leader in sustainable mining. A testament to the company’s belief in the power of mining to contribute positively to Zimbabwe’s development.
