Approximately 70 boreholes have been drilled and equipped by Mimosa to date. Beneficiaries of this noble gesture are schools, villagers, educational institutions, health institutions, and agriculture initiatives. Provision of safe and clean drinking water to such institutions has greatly contributed to the fight to combat water borne diseases as well as providing water to the people and livestock. Our internal stakeholders are also a key consideration in our CSR initiatives. Mimosa drilled and equipped boreholes at Lot 4 residential area where most of our employees reside. The area had been faced with a perennial water problem from the council provided water reticulation system. The boreholes are fitted with electrically powered pumps with reservoir tanks. Mimosa has ensured that this initiative is environmentally friendly by drilling solar-powered boreholes.
